First thing on Tuesday, off to the beach!! It was great not having to battle with the wind like our Destin trip.

Tuesday night, Chad had a Band meeting so the rest of us went to Broadway at the Beach. This was a really cool place with tons of stuff!! This is where the aquarium is along with many resturants including the Hard Rock, Planet Holleywood, etc. They also have a movie theater, putt-putt, Kids amusement park, hotels and tons of shopping. There is a lake in the middle of everything and they have bridges that go accross. They have a playground so we stopped to let Cailey get out of her stroller for a bit and play. We ate dinner at Joe's Crabshack. Afterwards they had a huge firework show.

Wednesday we ate lunch at a place called Dick's Last Resort. The place & the servers just cracked me up! They are all smartallecks! They make paper hats for everyone and write funny remarks or sayings on them. Like Cailey's said "Butt sniffer", Kates had a thought bubble saying "Did I wipe?", I also had a thought bubble saying "These people suck!", Chad's said "I miss prison showers" and Richard's was "Big as a house, hung like a mouse". Funny!
Someone at another table had a birthday. The waitress yells out "Hey, it's this kids birthday! Do we care?" and everyone yells back "NO!". And that was that! =) But the food was really good!
Another trip to play at the beach! Cailey's loves it! This is a good beach to look for seashells, which is what she had so much fun doing with Chad & Kate.
Our last night in Myrtle Beach, trying to decide what to do, we couldn't resist going to the Ripley's Aquarium. We've gone to the one in Gatlinburg, so we wanted to check this one out too! Gotta love the tunnels! After hearing all of us do the Jaws thing, you know what I'm talking about, Cailey would do it when the sharks would come by. She was a little afraid at first, but she quickly got over it.
Well, that was our trip to Myrtle Beach, now Off to Charleston!

Looks like Cailey and those big kids she was with had lots of fun. Now, who was that big kid playing in the sand with her? Glad you had fun! I loved seeing Cailey at my mother's. She liked ChiChi the Chihuahua, and surprisingly, he liked her. He usually doesn't like little people all that much, but she took his heart apparently and he was quite the little gentlman. Sorry I didn't see you, too.
I have several comments actually as you may have guessed. First and foremost- Kiss coffee house!!!??? How cool is that. I want to go there. Did they have a rock and roll all nite latte??? What about a God of Thunder cappaccino? # 2 - Who had more fun at the beach, Richard or Cailey? #3 - did Richard make huge boobs on himself with the sand?? Very strange little brother of mine. #4 - I love the pic of Cailey running on the beach. It's so baywatch-ish. And last but not least, "big as a house hung like a mouse". HA HA HA!!! I'm telling that to Allen.

Jane, I believe the big kid you are asking about is Chad. He graduated with Richard and they both played the trombone in the band. He is now a band director in Myrtle Beach.

#2 - Hhmm.. that's a tough one. They both had a great time.
#3 - Yes, Richard made huge boobs in the sand and he's "tweeking" the nipplies. LOL
#4 - I didn't think of baywatch, but now that you say it it sortof does! haha. And plus a ton of lifeguards came out on the beach to do drills while we were there!

Actually, I was talking about that kid covering himself and making the boobs and "tweeking". But, I'd heard about Chad and didn't really know where he came from. Is he the son of somebody that I know? Gee, Monica....I didn't know you were a Kiss fan. I guess I just don't know my niece as well as I thought..??

Regarding Chad, he is a Horsley. His dad, Roy, use to be the Pharmacist at Kmart in RBC and Walgreens. But he is now at the Walgreens in Anniston.
