Oxford Lake 4-18-07

While Richard was still in Vegas, me & Cailey went to the Oxford Park/Lake.

Cailey made sure not to step on the cracks on the covered bridge. I believe she was afraid she would fall through! In the second picture she had stopped and reached out for me to come get her. I then got her to walk on the other boards.

Smoky Mountain Trip April 14-17

Since Richard went to Las Vegas for Business to the NBA I decided to go with my parents on their trip to the Smokies. We left Saturday morning, the 14th, and came back on Tuesday. Most of Saturday evening and ALL day Sunday it rained! We drove through some snow flurries and got to see a bit of snow on Monday morning on our drive to Cades Cove. We camped on the Little River in Townsend. Cailey enjoyed sitting by the river & throwing rocks and minnie trying to get them when weather permitted. Here's a LOT of pictures!

Here's the little bit of Snow that we came across on the way to Cades Cove, Monday. This is Cailey's first sight of real snow on the ground...ever.

She Loved it!!!

Enlarge and check out her face in this one!~~Cades Cove. You can see the snow capped mountains.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I couldn't help but sing the Little House on the Prairie music while she ran down this grassy field toward PawPaw.
What deer we did see were mostly in the woods. We thought they might have been a lot of deer out since it had been raining for 2 days. But we only saw a little under 20.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I love this photo. Look at that scrunched nose.

Thowing pennies.

I really love this first photo too!!~~~~What a great action shot! She looks like she is ice skating.

And Of course I love these pictures!!! I just wish it would have been warm enough for her to be in a cute outfit.

Throwing rocks behind the camper.

Cute, Happy faces!

Minne waiting for Cailey to throw a rock.

Now it's time to play with sticks!

At Lookout Point in Townsend. I didn't get any pictures at the very top, the wind was blowing 30-40 mph...seriously! ~~~~~~~~~~Cailey and her bear purse that Nonna & PawPaw got her.
