Field Trip
The K-4 classes at school went to the Imagination Place in Gadsden on a Field Trip. The kids had a blast!! Afterward we stopped at McDonalds for lunch.
Just arrived. Waiting to go inside!!~~Dr. Seuss Month. They listened to a story & Colored a Dr. Seuss character.

Nocallula Falls Park 3-7-09
It was an absolute beautiful day Saturday. We just had to get outside and do something. We went to Gadsden to Noccalula Falls to have a picnic lunch. We invited mom to join us.

Donuts with Dad
3-6-09
At Cailey's school they had Donuts with Dad. All the dads for K-4 & up got to come and eat donuts with their kids. Each class had a special song to sing for them. I was able to go in and take pictures & also help serve the donuts. All the kids were so excited to do this with their dads or grandpa's. It's funny how kids react when their parents get to partake in their school activities. They have a new excitement as though it's been forever since they have seen them!
All the 4 yr olds singing their song. "D-A-D-D-Y and daddy is his name-o"

Snow!!! March 3, 2009
I didn't think we were going to get any snow this winter! Cailey was so excited to see snow falling when she woke up this morning. Richard went to church/work this morning, which was canceled, and they had so much more than we did at the house. So we went to the church where they had 2-3 inches. There was probably about an inch around our neighborhood, but nothing much in our yard. So I'm glad we went to where the good snow was!
We attempted to sled down the hill, but it didn't work. Maybe if we had an actual sled instead of a lid!

We tried making another snowman, but the 2nd piece was too big and it broke the bottom one! But made for great big, hard, pieces to throw!
What a nut!~~~~~~Our snowman was lopsided so we tried to fix it. And it just broke apart!
So we all just kicked it!
& broke it over our heads!
John got cailey in the face with a snowball. She's trying to lick it off!
She loved every minute of it!!!
