Outdoor Snapshots - November 26th

Another beautiful day today. I've been meaning to get some pictures of Cailey in this outfit while it's been warm outside. And before we toss the pumpkin. Some of these turned out sooo cute!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~What a perfect little pose!
The sweater poncho thing didn't last that long. She took it off almost as soon as it was on.
For some reason she kept wanting to pull her skirt up to her chest. Flattering pictures, huh? But her cute little expressions are the best!
I LOVE these pictures!!
Just like the shirt says, She's WILD AT HEART!
Thanksgiving 2006
We did Thanksgiving a tad bit different this year. We did lunch at the Bates & dinner at the Whites. Which we liked the swap. The weather was beautiful & it gave a chance for the kids and us to play outside a little. We even had our own Thanksgiving Day parade! Last fall we had a hay ride, but this year they couldn't find hay bales. But who needs hay bales! We just threw some lawn chairs on the trailer & a blanket & took off. The beginning of the ride we sang the Beverly Hillbilly song since that's what we probably looked like! But while going down the road it seemed more like we were on a float. A really bad one. Something like what you would have seen at the Gadsden Christmas parade years ago. Hopefully they've improved. Cailey was in a very ill mood at lunch though. She had just gotten over strep throat & pneumonia. She did feel better after a long nap in between visits.
Anyway, hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!!
I didn't get hardly any pictures at Dinner. But I did get this one of Monica & Richard. This use to be the traditional photo of them.
Mt. Cheaha - November 4th
We rode up to Mt. Cheaha on November 4th while the leaves were still pretty.
The first picture was taken at the Bald Rock lookout and the 2nd picture is the walk back from it. Yes, Richard is in almost every photo. The last 2 pictures are at a scenic overlook stop on the way up. Very pretty.
Previous Halloweens
I thought I would post Cailey's previous Halloween photos (or pages actually cause it was easier) just to see how much she's grown. It's funny that cailey was a cowgirl last year and she was an indian this year. Was really not planned that way. The indian idea first came earlier in the year when my parents brought the kids back a drum from Cherokee on a trip to the smokies. And the first 2 tries at a costume was a pirate & wonder woman. But both fell through & I found the indian costume at old navy. Just worked out that way. Anyway, here's halloween '05 & '04.
Halloween
Tuesday we went to Hope Harvest at our Church, Word Alive. Cailey had just woke up from her nap when I tossed her costume on her. We had spent most of the morning at the dr's office so she had a late nap. We got there a little after 4, to try to beat the crowd. So she wasn't yet all the way awake. And you can tell in the pictures!! But we didn't stay that long. They didn't really have much stuff for kids her age. They did have some carnival rides, but we weren't comfortable letting her ride the ones for kids. Those will have to wait until next year.
After we left there, we took her trick or treating on our road then she was ready to stop.
The little Monkey is Cailey's friend Nicholas from Church & he is in her Preschool class on Thursdays. Nicholas' brother is behind him, the scary one.
