Halloween - Trick or Treating in Gadsden

We took Cailey trick or treating in Gadsden on Sunday. She is a little Indian Princess. I said she is Tiger Lilly from Peter Pan cause her outfit looked like hers. I got her outfit at Old Navy and the moccasins at a local boot store. She was a cutie!!
We went to my grandma's house, but both her & Pat were sick and didn't want to get close to anyone so we wouldn't catch it. So unfortunately I didn't get any pictures there.
But Cailey loved trick or treating!!

Daniel & Kristen's Wedding - October 28th 2006

Our friend Daniel got married Saturday. He was a groomsman in our wedding and Richard was a groomsman in His. They got married at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in Homewood & had their reception at Cafe de France Restuarant at the Botanical Gardens. It was a beautiful wedding & reception and we had a great time.

Halloween Costume Party 10-27-06

Emily Skagg Owens had a Halloween Costume Party at her house Friday (oct 27). Richard was off at Daniel's Wedding Rehearsal in B'ham so I took Cailey to my parents house and went without him. I was originally planning on going to the rehearsal and taking Cailey, but we found out that the dinner was at a very nice restuarant that was not kid friendly. So a few days before the party I'm trying to figure out what to dress up as. And thought of what we had on hand...Richard's beard & wig from his Hagrid (Character from Harry Potter) outfit. So I went as the bearded lady! Seemed like it was a pretty good hit. I just thought it would be funny.

Pumpkin Patch

Saturday, the 21st, we went on our annual fall trip to the Pumpkin Patch in Hayden AL. We couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather! It was absolutely perfect!!
We were so glad that Richard's parents, Trent & Vicki, were able to come with us this year. This was their first trip to the Great Pumpkin Patch. We took a picnic lunch and ate while listening to some live entertainment. I believe this first picture is my favorite one! I love it! Her pants have little pigs on them!
