Great Pumpkin Patch - Oct 20th

We couldn't go through October without going to the Great Pumpkin Patch, in Hayden AL. This has become an annual tradition. We have a great time every year and it just keeps getting better. So it's worth our hour & a half drive!

Cailey's FIRST pony ride!!! She said she wanted to ride the pony. I was sortof expecting her to want to until she actually got on it then change her mind. But she did so good & she looked so darn cute on that pony!! I was very proud of her.

Richard taking cailey up the big inflatable slide. Cailey rode a pony by herself, but she wouldn't slide by herself. And she didn't want to play on any of the other inflatable things!! Crazy!

I tried to get Cailey to go down the slide with me, but she said "I already went down it!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~This child has a thing for rocks!! Every where we go, she looks on the ground for rocks. And usually puts a few in her & my pockets.
On the hayride to the Pumpkin Patch.
Cailey & Carson
Let's pick out a pumpkin!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Part of the produce sticker still on the pumpkin! Wonder where these came from. ;)

Cailey carried around this little pumpkin that still had part of it's vine on it. I wasn't going to pay $3 for that one! ~~~~~ That one's more like it!

Richard and his "pumpkins".

Running through the hay maze.

~~~~Pony Ride #2!!!!!! Carson wanted to ride the pony with Cailey. Once they went to do it, Carson did what I thought Cailey would have done the 1st time. Carson didn't want to ride, until after he watched Cailey do it.
Petting the pony. She's a pro at this now!
She had this cutest little expression while she rode. I wish I knew what she was thinking while she was riding.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Now carson rides, but only if he can hold Nonna's hand.

This I believe is what Cailey wanted to do most at the Pumpkin patch. Ride the "train".

Running around the mums.

October 14th, Playing on the swingset

A few snapshots of cailey playing on the swingset, Sunday oct 14th.

Gaston Homecoming Football Game

October 12th - Some of the Class of '97 met at the Gaston Homecoming game.

Me, Aggie, Kyla & Emily

The scoreboard behind us says Gaston 50 - Skyline 0.
When we left it was 57-0 at the beginning of the 4th. Later read in the newspaper that final score was 57-6.

Cailey's first actual drawing, not just scribbles!

September 30th, Cailey first chalk drawing of people!!
We were both just having some fun with the chalk and I looked over and saw her drawing people!!! In the first picture the middle person was her first one. The arms are a little too low, but you can see in the other two that they are in the right place. She would do the head, body & arms/legs each in a different color. Of course I had to go get my camera to take pictures & to get Richard to come out and look at it. I was proud of my little artist.

My 28th Birthday

My birthday was Sept 15th, but on Friday the 14th my parents, Jennifer & Carson came and we had dinner at Fuji! My Favorite restaurant. Had some Sushi and came home for a Tinker Bell Birthday cake! Carson wanted to get me the Scooby-Doo Cake instead!
Later that night after Cailey's bath, she made me a play-dough birthday cake using her rolling pin as a candle. I blew out the "candle" and she sang happy birthday to me. Was the best part of my birthday!!!

Coldwater Creek

Me & Cailey has found a new place to play...Coldwater Creek!! This was the first time we have been to it. This park is only a half mile from the church. On Tue/Wed/Thur after I pick Cailey up from School we have made going to the Creek our thing. Since I have to be back at the church/school at 3:10 for work it has turned out best to just go to the creek in between instead of driving home & then back again.
After leaving the first time, she told me "Thank you for taking me to play in the water". So sweet!

My Favorite picture of the bunch!~~~~Cailey walking on water! =)

First day of Preshcool

August 7th, Cailey's first Day of Preschool.
I did not get a good "first day of school" picture. It was way too early for Cailey...and me too!
