Camping trip to Stone Mtn.

We went to Stone Mountain Park Friday and Camped. They are having their pumpkin festival and it was very pretty. Lots of Pumpkins! This was the first time we really got to get out and use my new camera, which Richard keeps referring to as his camera but I think we got some good pictures!

Cailey on the Camp Highland Outpost. It consists of low ropes course with three line bridges and zip lines. This was her favorite part of the trip!!!

The zip line was her favorite! She really surprised me. I wasn't sure how she would handle it, but she grabbed the rope, sat on the knot and off she'd go. She wouldn't even wait on the worker to tell her to go!


Richard on the Sky Hike. Their newest attraction. It's totally awesome!!! Their's a 12 ft. trail, a 24 ft. high trail and a 40 ft. in the air (four stories high). Richard tried out the 12ft trail and since he's not too great at heights he did really good.

Oxford Fire Department @ School

This week is Fire Awareness Week and the Oxford Fire Department made a trip to the school for the kids to check out the Truck and to learn about fire safety & saw a fireman in his full uniform.



Mrs. Judy & Mrs. Sondra with the kids, some were a little frightened by the fireman's outfit!

Cailey is doing so good in School. Each week she learns more & more. Last week she started writing her last name. Awesome, and she's so interested in the whole spelling thing too.

Some of Cailey's artwork. She did these off by herself on her own. The one on the left she got my ruler and made a cross and drew Jesus on it. And the other one is her & her Daddy holding hands. And the two circles are knees, yes I asked her cause I wondered too!! =) But these are just too awsome!!

Pumpkin Shirt

I made a Pumpkin shirt for the Fall Season for Cailey. I bought the white shirt & target and sewed the pumpkin on.

Aubie

I haven't had much time to play with my camera yet, but I've definitely played a little with it. Here's a picture of Aubie, I thought this was a good picture to show how awesome my camera is!!

My Birthday Present!

I finally got my birthday present in the mail yesterday! My new camera, 12.2 mp! Here's my Canon Rebel xsi and I've got lots of other lenses & goodies with it!

Stone Mountain

Sept 6th, me, Cailey & my mom went to Stone Mtn for the Yellow Daisy Festival. It is the largest craft show in the nation. It was huge and sooooooo crowded!!! But there were lots of crafts, lots to see. We left with just buying Cailey 3 hairbows.
