Cailey's 2nd Birthday Party!!! June 3rd

Cailey is now a 2 year old! Her birthday party was on the 3rd. Was a "small" gathering with immediate family and friends. Thank you all for coming to her party. We all had a good time! Here are a few pictures:
My mother (Cailey's Nonna) made the cake. It turned out great considering it was the first 2 tier cake that she has made. Hope everone liked it, even if it did have a little spit on top, as shown in the picture below! =)

Mother's Day

Here are a few pictures from Mother's day. These were taken at my parents place. Cailey could throw rocks in the river ALL day long! Minnie would try to catch them before they got in the water.

Bathtub Baby 5-4-06

I took these pictures a month ago and they were downloaded where I couldn't find them. It's been awhile since I took any bath pictures. I love these cause you can get a better look at her face without all her hair in the way. I love the top one!

Uh-Oh

Today after Cailey ate lunch, she ran back into her bedroom while I finished eating.
After a little bit I heard a long, drawn out "Mooommeeeeeeee". I got up and halfway down the hall I could smell baby powder and I knew what had happened!! I was about to clean it up when I realized that I needed a picture first! She was so cute covered in white!

Carson's 2nd Birthday Party

Carson turned 2 on the 17th of May and his party was the 20th. Here are some pictures. Mom made the Pooh Cake. We gave him the little basketball hoop. Cailey really ejoyed his new swingset!!

Little Girl

Cailey, when did you turn into a little girl?? When your hair is up and with your jeans & T-shirt on, somehow, they make you look so much older. Where did my baby go??? You are such a cutie with your hair up. You don't let me do it much, so when it's up I have to take lots of pictures.

Here She is with the hair clips pulled out and she is trying to put them in her pocket. See, it didn't last long.

Fort Walton Beach/Destin

We have returned from a very enjoyable trip at the beach. This is the first trip to the beach for us since we went to Gulf Shores in 2000! So this trip was long overdue!! When we got to Fort Walton on Thursday we went to the beach just to walk a little and to see how Cailey would react. She was in awe of it all, but she would not let us put her down! Friday morning we went to the Gulfarium. Loved the dolphins. Cailey didn't really get into the shows because it made her have to sit still and watch something. Didn't work out. The Dolphin in the picture stopped at the window to check us out. It really freaked Cailey out and she started crying. I think she really liked looking at the sharks swimming with her daddy. She also liked riding the little play horse. Who needs 50 cents when you have a daddy to push it around in circles!!

After the Aquarium, lunch, a trip to Target to buy Cailey some water shoes in hopes of her walking on the beach, and a nap we were off to play on the beach. Cailey loved the water! She even loved the taste of it. She would lick her lips and say "Yummy, taste!". She even tried to make Richard taste it! And last but not least, she finally played in the sand and even let Richard bury her legs.

We tried to get some nice shots of on the beach Friday evening when the sun was setting in her white sundress. Unfortunately timing was not on our side. We had to wake her up from her nap and it was soooo windy and cool. She was not a happy girl!!! So I was a little dissapointed that we didn't get any good shots. Oh well, maybe next year. We went to Joe's Crab shack for dinner. It was soooo good! Definitely recommend it!
Saturday we headed back to Anniston and stopped at the Florala state Park and had a picnic lunch. It's a really nice park. We also stopped at Clanton at the Peach Park for some ice cream. It was a nice trip and already looking forward to next year!
