Cailey's 3rd Birthday Party!!!

We had Cailey's 3rd Birthday Party Sunday, June 3rd. (Her actual birthday is the 4th)
We had it at our house in the backyard. She has been looking forward to this day for a long, long time!! For a few months now when someone asks her when is your birthday she'd respond "June the forsh"!

We got Cailey the Barbie Jammin' Jeep. I didn't get any good pictures of her reaction. They were all very blurry! I don't know what happened, must have been in the wrong mode. But Richard & Trent were bringing it around the house to the backyard and we had her attention to look that way. She was standing by Monica and when she saw it her mouth opened up wide and she got Granny's hand and jumped up and down saying "MY CAR CAR!!!". And her & Carson ran and got into the jeep. She was so excited! She is still learning how to steer it, but she's doing good. Only ran over my foot once so far. It has a digital radio/clock and a pretend CD player that plays songs. Hopefully I can get some better pictures from everyone else and post.

Jennifer's 30th Birthday Party

As I mentioned in my previous post, Jennifer (my sister, for those unaware) turned 30 on the 28th of May. We threw her a surprise party at Pasghetti's in Rainbow City on June 1st.
I made her an album that was shaped as a train with pictures of carson. Turned out cute, I'll post pictures of it when I can get Jennifer to send me some. I forgot to take some before I gave it to her.

Memorial Day - May 28th.

May 28th, Memorial Day and Jennifer's 30th Birthday. Too bad Jennifer was very sick on her birthday and was at home in bed all day. But Mom picked up Carson and brought him to Grandma's house for lunch.

Richard drove them around in Pat's golf cart a good bit. And when it wasn't in use Minnie usually sat in it or the wagon. She wasn't to fond of the grass.

Carson's 3rd Birthday Party!

Carson turned 3 on May 17th. His party was on the 20th at Noccollula Falls. We were late to the party so we missed the birthday cake and presents. The first picture is from my mom. But it was fun and we took Cailey and Carson on a ride on the train. They had a good time!

Mother's Day 5-13-07

Here are a few pictures from Mother's Day at Richard's Parents house. My family was in Gulf Shores so just pictures with the Whites. =)
I had a great Mother's Day. My best yet I believe. Richard gave me a gorgeous watch!!

Kitty Cat Cailey

If you've been around Cailey much, you've probably noticed how she acts like a cat sometime. Meowing at us and rubs her head on us showing us some love. Of course I love it and I do it right back to her. ;) It's just so cute. So one night in the tub she filled this bowl with water & said I'm a kitty cat, laping up some water!

Just a Swingin' 5-7-07

Cailey hasn't been a big swinger till this day. Usually she'd sit on the swing & let me push her for a few seconds and then she was ready to get off! But she has found the love for swinging! And I'm glad she finally likes it. Of course she likes it most when we stand in front of her and grab her ankles and pull her back and let her go. She doesn't want us pushing her from behind. She swung for ATLEAST 45 minutes!
And the best part of her swinging are the stories she tells, the songs she sings (Songs she knows or Cailey originals), and her conversations.
Here's some of a conversation we had while she swung:
Cailey: You see my shadow? You see me getting bigger?
Me: I sure do, the sun is making your shadow. (I believe she thought I said that the sun is taking your shadow)
Cailey: (turns around & looks at the Sun & shaking her finger at it) Sun, don't take my shadow! I'll have to go to the sky and spank your bottom!!

I just loved that! Some other things she talked about was how she was going to cut down the trees with her teeth like a beaver. =)




I think she's tired of me taking pictures! Don't you think?

Oxford Lake 4-18-07

While Richard was still in Vegas, me & Cailey went to the Oxford Park/Lake.


Cailey made sure not to step on the cracks on the covered bridge. I believe she was afraid she would fall through! In the second picture she had stopped and reached out for me to come get her. I then got her to walk on the other boards.
