Smoky Mountain Trip April 14-17

Since Richard went to Las Vegas for Business to the NBA I decided to go with my parents on their trip to the Smokies. We left Saturday morning, the 14th, and came back on Tuesday. Most of Saturday evening and ALL day Sunday it rained! We drove through some snow flurries and got to see a bit of snow on Monday morning on our drive to Cades Cove. We camped on the Little River in Townsend. Cailey enjoyed sitting by the river & throwing rocks and minnie trying to get them when weather permitted. Here's a LOT of pictures!

Here's the little bit of Snow that we came across on the way to Cades Cove, Monday. This is Cailey's first sight of real snow on the ground...ever.

What deer we did see were mostly in the woods. We thought they might have been a lot of deer out since it had been raining for 2 days. But we only saw a little under 20.

At Lookout Point in Townsend. I didn't get any pictures at the very top, the wind was blowing 30-40 mph...seriously! ~~~~~~~~~~Cailey and her bear purse that Nonna & PawPaw got her.

Easter at the White's

After leaving my grandmother's we went to Richard's Parents house (AKA Granny & Papa's).

Hunting Eggs!!! All the pictures looked basically the same. Cailey bending over to get an egg and busting a sag! A little crack goes a long way. ;)
Cailey was ready to go home after such a long day. She was so tired and had a good nights sleep!

Easter at my Grandma's

Sunday on our way to Richard's parents house, we stopped by my grandmother's house to visit for a bit. We couldn't stay long since it was getting colder. Cailey still had some eggs to hunt at Granny's!



Cailey has been riding on everything today!! She got to ride with Grandma on her scooter & Madison & Kyle gave her a ride on Pat's Golf Cart.

As soon as Richard got home from the 2nd church service, we were off to Gadsden. We went to my parents house first. Cailey & Carson hunted eggs, rode the little tractor (I'll add some of those pictures soon), and rode the big tractor with PawPaw and rode in the wagon too.

Easter Morning

Before heading off to the early church service Sunday morning, I tried to get some pictures of Cailey in her dress. She's not a morning person so I didn't get hardly any good ones. And I should have taken some before I put her sweater on! She wanted to hide behind the curtains.

These two pictures are my favorite! They look sweet.

Making Bunny Cookies

We made some Bunny Sugar cookies for Easter on Saturday. We had lots of dirty flour sprinkley fun. =) Cailey enjoyed it, especially rolling the dough and mushing it down. Oh, and of course adding the sprinkles when she wasn't eating them!
